Our Background

Refugees, Displaced Persons and Forced Migration Studies Center(RDFMSC) celebrates its silver jubilee this year, marking its 25th anniversary if establishment. starting as a program in refugees' studies in 1992 and highlighting Yarmouk University's interest in the fields of refugees and refuge, (RDFMSC), later founded in 1997 becomes the first center in the Arab region and Middle East founded with the purpose to tackle issues of refuge, displacement and forced migration

We aim to support decision makers and researchers in the area of refugees and forced migration issues. We seek to realize this vision by becoming a national and regional research reference.

We are a non-profit academic research center, affiliated with Yarmouk University, specialized in issues related to refugees, displaced persons and forced migration and works on this area by conducting qualitative studies and research, opinion polls and implementing related projects
